Made 1,000 meals for hurricane victims – gets no attention in the media

Media was busy covering outfits of what Melania Trump wore during the hurricane in August that left the lives of hundreds shattered and around 50 people died. Media was not concerned with the heroes who worked day and night for the victims.

Learn how a group of heroes helped hurricane victims and got no recognition from the media.

In August 2017, Hurricane Harvey struck Southern Texas and destructed everything in its way. Many people fled from their houses and many lost everything they had. Around 50 people died and the destruction caused will take a lot of time to be construed back.

During the times of such horror and distress, many helping hands joined together to help the victims. One such helping guys were the owners and staff of Sake Sushi Bar and Lounge, Phe Nguyen and Binh Nguyen did their best to serve whatever they could to help the victims who were going through such destruction and horror. They made up their minds to serve delicious meals to the victims.

They motivated their staff and within a day, prepared one thousand boxes of food for the victims. Despite such efforts and help, these guys didn’t receive any media attention. Their deeds were however selfless and so they kept on helping happily. The owner’s son, however, felt that his father, uncle and their staff deserved recognition. And so he posted their deeds on Facebook.

‪My dad and uncle Binh own a restaurant in Southeast Texas and they were also effected by Harvey but the media doesn’t cover it. Today them, their staff and volunteers helped create over 1000 meals for victims, first responders, and other volunteers. My dad and uncle are both very humble about it but I believe they atleast deserve recognition and appreciation for everything that they do. Their restaurant is Sake Sushi Bar and Lounge in Port Arthur, Tx. If you’re ever in the area you should stop by and support these hard working men, or even share their good deed on facebook. They deserve it.‬

Keith had no idea that his post would have a huge impact. It has been shared 444,000 times and a million interactions. They deserve recognition and honor and do share if you ever come across heroes like them.

Such heroes are hard to find, don’t you think?
